Niall McConville has recently joined Midwest Fertilizer to help advance the venture in Southern Indiana. Niall recently retired after a 25 year career with SABIC.

Niall’s career with SABIC included Operations as well as Global Health & Safety, Process Safety and Manufacturing responsibilities. From 2019 through 2025, Niall was the Site Director for the Mt Vernon SABIC Site - a large multi-business-unit Site with over 1200 acre and 1100 employees. Prior to that role, Niall was the Site Leader for the Ottawa, Illinois SABIC ABS Plant. In addition to Niall’s career in Plastics and Chemicals Manufacturing, he worked for Cummins Engine Company and as a Civilian Engineer for the US Air Force.

Niall has a BS Engineering Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Purdue University and also earned the GE Master Black Belt Certification.

Niall is originally from Northern Ireland, is married and has two children and one grand child. He lives in the country in Southern Illinois about 15 miles from the future Midwest Fertilizer location in Southern Indiana.
